Title: Deposit Operations AssociateDepartment: Deposit Operations Full TimeLocation – Operations - Elmer, NJSalary: Starting from $17.75 hourlyApply here – https://www.elmerbank.com/careers/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProcess unposted and NSF items.Reconcile inclearing, transit, and savings bonds.Research deposit corrections and branch reconcilement differences.Print and mail daily account notices, interest checks, and IRA Distributions.Process returned deposited items and create Image Replacement Documents (IRD’s).Review, process and reconcile all ACH transactions and files, including International ACH transactions (IATs)Reconcile ACH Origination filesProcess check and ACH returns.Process charge-offs of overdrawn accounts.Review stop payments, transfer agreements, and extended holds.Process incoming and outgoing wires.Assist with subpoenas and levies.Research requests.Review checks for irregularities and verify maker signatures for authenticity.Assist with the annual escheatment of deposit accounts and negotiable items.New account verification, compliance with CIP, IRA document review, and reporting of new account exceptions.Review and log returned mail.Process credit reference requests and Asset Verification Notifications from Medicare and SSI.Debit/ATM card issuance, dispute processing, hot carding, and daily reconcilement.Process online banking enrollments and password resets.Review Mobile and Merchant Capture deposits.Assist with online bill pay, Zelle, and instant payment issues.Process enrollments and perform administrative functions for electronic banking services.Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act (including but not limited to) Customer Identification Program, customer due diligence, identifying red flags and reporting unusual activities to the BSA Department.
