Main Responsibilities
- Support buying staff in managing the meat, seafood, and deli business
- Communicate programs to merchandising and retail teams
- Respond to any customer service inquiries
- Manage and make adjustments to programs as needed
- Run daily Fill Rate, Out of Stock, and other reports each Morning.
- Upload all product distributions.
- Upload all advertisement distributions.
- Upload and track holiday distributions.
- Run daily zero inventory orders, communicate order needs to suppliers.
- Run daily weights reports, report large variances to buyers.
- Help set up bi-annual vendor showcase events.
- Other duties as needed to support buying staff
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following
- A 4-year degree preferred in Business, Marketing or related field or relevant experience of marketing, accounting and financial management practices preferred.
- Customer Service and/or retail experience a plus.
- Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level, verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instruction.
- Working knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices a plus.
- Ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions.
- Spend long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
