- BCBA Behavior Specialists: Minimum starting salary $64,469
- English to Speakers of Other Languages Teachers: Minimum starting salary $64,469
- Foreign Language Teachers (SWD 7-12 - Spanish): Minimum starting salary $64,469
- Registered Nurses: Minimum starting salary $66,488 (additional compensation for Bachelor’s or Master's degree)
- School Psychologists: Minimum starting salary $69,427
- Special Education Aides: Minimum starting salary $27,630
- Special Education Teachers: Minimum starting salary $64,469
- Speech & Language Disabilities Teachers: Minimum starting salary $69,427
- Teacher of Deaf & Hard of Hearing: Minimum starting salary $64,469
- Teacher of Visually Impaired: Minimum starting salary $64,469
- Teaching Assistants: Minimum starting salary $30,153
Requirements
- BCBA Behavior Specialists: NYS Permanent Certification/License, BCBA/LBA Certification/License. Experience with special education students preferred.
- English to Speakers of Other Languages Teachers: NYS English to Speakers of Other Languages Certification.
- Foreign Language Teachers: NYS SWD 7-12 - Spanish Certification.
- Registered Nurses: School Nurse/RN license. BS/BSN preferred. Special Education experience preferred.
- School Psychologists: NYS School Psychologist Certification and/or bilingual extension. Experience with special education students in an educational setting preferred.
- Special Education Teachers: NYS Special Education Certification, or one of the following:
- Students with Disabilities 1-6
- Students with Disabilities (All Grades)
- Students with Disabilities - Generalist 7-12
- Students w/ Disabilities 7-12 - Biology, General Science
- Speech & Language Disabilities Teachers: NYS Certification as TSHH or TSSLD and/or bilingual extension. NYS Speech & Language Pathologist license required. Experience with special education students in an educational setting preferred.
- Teacher of Deaf & Hard of Hearing: NYS Deaf & Hard of Hearing Certification.
- Teacher of Visually Impaired: NYS Blind & Visually Impaired Certification.
- Teaching Assistants: NYS Teaching Assistant Certification.
