DEPARTMENT MANAGER - People, Guest Experience, and Kitchen

Responsibilities

• Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Set goals and delegate tasks to your team
• Follow up and report results back to your team and other managers
• Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
• Ensure food is always safe
• Control food costs
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
• Hire qualified crew and train them well
• Schedule crew to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
• Engage employees through motivation and recognition
• Ensure the restaurant delivers a memorable customer experience
• Ensure sales promotions are done well
• Train service staff in service procedures
• Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service

Requirements

Must be 18 years old and older.

Qualifications

Experience in restaurant management, food safety, inventory management, and employee training is preferred.

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to motivate and recognize employees
• Effective planning and organizational skills

Pay

Salary range: DOE ($58,700.00 - $60,000.00)

This role is for a Department Restaurant Manager in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be the employer, not McDonald’s USA. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant.
