Responsibilities

  • Oversee department operations, including scanning outs, inventory management, recovery, price changes, and planogram sets
  • Adhere to the indoor merchandising guide to maintain consistent department standards and appealing displays
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and replenishing stock
  • Ensure the department remains neat, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience
  • Coordinate and execute price changes accurately, updating pricing labels and signage as required
  • Implement playbook features and planogram sets according to company guidelines to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain department cleanliness and enforce sanitation and safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service using the customer engagement model to assist with inquiries, product location, and concerns
  • Support front-end operations by processing transactions or loadouts as needed
  • Operate general office equipment (telephone, copy machine, fax, computer) and retail equipment (handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders)
  • Participate in cross-training for flexibility across various departments and responsibilities
  • Engage in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new skills and stay current
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of retail experience with knowledge of a specific department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong adaptability to changing priorities and evolving business needs
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently
  • Ability to remain composed and focused during high-pressure situations
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, meeting deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable navigating computer systems and software
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work a 40-hour workweek with varied hours, including days, nights, and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently
  • Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack
  • Able to navigate and access all facilities
  • Effective verbal communication skills, both in-person and via electronic devices
  • Close vision for computer-related tasks

Pay

USD $16.00–$19.50 per hour
