Responsibilities
- Organizes assigned area to ensure ready access to and knowledge of all orders currently in process on a daily basis.
- Effectively communicates with customer service regarding work that is in the area or coming to the area for processing.
- Works closely with Production Manager and Supervisor on other shifts/departments to determine daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
- Maintains schedule and discusses labor needs as workload changes.
- Maintains inventory levels and supplies, communicating back to purchasing as required.
- Maintains and monitors appropriate documentation on all orders.
- Organizes work to be done and assigns accordingly, follows dashboard requirements to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Works with supervisor and manager to resolve problems as needed.
- Trains employees and monitors their performance.
- Resolves technical problems and challenges by involving the appropriate people to keep production moving and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Works with appropriate personnel and participates in continuous improvement activities, always looking for new ways to reduce cost, streamline processes, and increase throughput.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- 6+ months of experience in manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
