Job Summary
Lead the department in assessing population health and identify disparities for multi-site grant funded community-based Health Education & Chronic Disease programs. Develop comprehensive programs, prepare and submit grant proposals, and manage budgets. Serve as Principal Investigator on multiple grants, as well as a Program Manager on a grant. Supervise and provide strategic direction to the department staff. Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and delegated tasks.
Job Specifications
- Masters degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Education, or related field required.
- Five years professional experience in related field required.
- Experience working with Tribal organizations preferred.
- Successful grant writing experience required.
- Must be able to work with and respect cultural differences.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Strong computer skills necessary.
- Preference given to qualified Native Americans.
Salary
$80,516 - $88,587 dependent upon education, skills, and experience
