Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and support daily departmental operations, ensuring efficiency and organization
- Administer administrative support for academic programs, with a focus on graduate program activities
- Aid with graduate student recruitment, admissions processes, and onboarding
- Serve as a primary point of contact for faculty, students, and internal and external partners
- Support faculty with scheduling, communications, and administrative needs
- Coordinate meetings, events, and departmental logistics
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation
- Aid with internal and external communications, including drafting and distributing materials
- Collaborate with campus partners to support departmental initiatives and ensure compliance with university processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and adapt to evolving departmental needs
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or completion of up to three years of college or technical school preferred
- Three or more years of relevant administrative or program support experience
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A customer service-oriented demeanor with a positive, approachable attitude
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to support change and evolving responsibilities
- A quick learner with the ability to understand and apply new systems and technologies
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
Additional Information
