DENTIST II (PART-TIME CONTRACTUAL) - #26-004234-0001

Part-time contractual position located in Charles County.

Pay

$57.02 - $73.06/hour, with potential growth to $88.95/hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to patients in a local health department setting.
• Diagnose and treat dental diseases, conditions, and injuries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Perform routine and advanced dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorative work.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Participate in community health programs and outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state of Maryland or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of two years of professional dental experience, preferably in a public health setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current dental practices and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care to underserved populations.
