About the role
We are currently hiring for a FULL-TIME Dentist in Milwaukee, WI at Progressive Community Health Centers. We are looking for someone with a passion for our community and the skill set to support growth at an up-and-coming health organization.
Who Are We?
Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non-profit organization that operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs. We provide high-quality, comprehensive care to roughly 16,000 patients annually, a majority of who are low-income. No one is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or ability to pay.
Responsibilities
The dentist is responsible for providing and ensuring the provision of preventative and restorative dental care that is consistent with accepted professional standards.
Requirements
- DDS degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensed to practice dentistry in Wisconsin
- DEA registration
Qualifications and Benefits
If you are a student in your last year of medical, nursing, or dental school, or a licensed primary care clinician, you may be eligible to receive loan repayment assistance through the NHSC Loan Repayment Program (NHSC LRP) or the NHSC Students to Service Loan Repayment Program (NHSC S2S LRP). In exchange for loan repayment, you serve at least two years of service at an NHSC-approved site in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).
