About the Role

Full‑time dentist position in Milwaukee, WI at Progressive Community Health Centers. The role supports community health and may be filled by a student in the final year of medical, nursing, or dental school, or a licensed primary‑care clinician. Eligible candidates can receive loan repayment assistance through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program or the NHSC Students to Service Loan Repayment Program.

Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non‑profit operating four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than 100 employees deliver culturally competent, patient‑centered services to roughly 16,000 patients annually, most of whom are low‑income. Services include family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, urgent care, dental, radiology, integrated behavioral health, case management, health education, and benefits enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative dental care consistent with accepted professional standards.
• Provide restorative dental care consistent with accepted professional standards.

Qualifications

• DDS degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in Wisconsin.
• DEA registration.

Requirements

• All employees, providers, and volunteers must be vaccinated against influenza and provide proof of vaccination prior to orientation.
