Dentist

Horizon Health in Wessington Springs, SD is seeking a full-time Dentist to coordinate all aspects of patient oral health care, provide appropriate preventative and emergent services, and deliver oral health education in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose oral conditions through examination and dental radiographs.
• Prescribe medication as necessary.
• Perform surgical procedures and monitor growth and development of hard and soft tissues.
• Implement preventative and emergent measures.
• Provide oral hygiene and dietary instruction.
• Deliver oral health management, education, and individual counseling for all dental clinic patients.
• Integrate patient oral health care with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s overall health management.

Requirements

• Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure by the State of South Dakota.
