Responsibilities

• Responsible for direct coordinating all aspects of the patient’s oral health care, including but not limited to:
• diagnosing through oral examination with aid of dental radiographs
• prescribe medication as deemed necessary
• performs surgical procedures and monitors growth of development of hard and soft tissues
• performs appropriate preventative and emergent measures
• provides oral hygiene instruction and dietary instruction
• Provides oral health management, education, and appropriate individual counseling for all dental clinic patients.
• Integration of appropriate patient oral health care with other health care professionals involved in the patient’s health care management.
