About the role

HealthDrive is seeking a Dentist to work part-time or full-time (2‑4 days per week) in western Michigan, serving the greater Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids area and surrounding communities. The role provides on‑site dental services to residents of long‑term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities. HealthDrive delivers on‑site optometry, dentistry, podiatry, audiology, and behavioral health services to residents in these settings, directly impacting their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, preventative examinations and oral cancer screenings
• Perform routine extractions and fillings
• Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
• Perform restorative dental services including crowns and bridges
• Provide cleanings and x‑rays
• Provide emergency services
• Maintain a monthly average of 20 patients per day
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in the cutting‑edge EMR system
• Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities for mobile model treatment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree
• State professional dental license
• Valid driver’s license
• Dentistry background with proficiency in assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of dental care
• Ability to work collaboratively with an assistant or independently if necessary
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to use email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare‑related software

Pay

$1,000 per day base rate.

Schedule

Part‑time or full‑time (2‑4 days per week) with no evening or weekend hours required.
