About the role
Kentucky Big Smiles is seeking a general and/or pediatric dentist to provide dental care to underserved children at their school-based mobile dental practice in Mt. Sterling, KY, and the surrounding areas. The position offers a competitive salary, relocation/sign on bonus up to $25k for some areas of Kentucky, and a unique work schedule with evenings, weekends, and summers off.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental care to underserved children at school-based clinics
- Work a school day schedule (about 6 hours)
- Use state-of-the-art portable dental equipment and latest technology
- Transform classrooms, auditoriums, gyms, or other suitable areas into fully functional dental offices
- Transform lives by providing preventive and restorative dental care
Requirements
- DMD or DDS degree
- Ability to work well with both children & adults
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel daily to/from school sites
- Likely eligible to work in the U.S. without Visa Sponsorship

- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a school environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with children and adults
- Ability to manage time effectively between school and clinic schedules
