About the role
As a Dentist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, preventing, and treating oral health issues to improve patients' overall well-being and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Perform dental surgeries, including extractions, root canals, and implant placements.
- Administer restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with dental team members to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid or ability to obtain Missouri dental license to practice dentistry.
- Completion of required clinical internships or residencies.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, pathology, and treatment protocols.
- Proficiency in using dental instruments, technology, and software for patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced training or certification in cosmetic dentistry or oral surgery.
- Familiarity with prosthodontics and complex restorative procedures.
- Continuing education in the latest dental technologies and treatment methodologies.
- Membership in professional dental associations such as the American Dental Association (ADA).
