The Dental Treatment Coordinator acts as a vital link between patients and dental care providers, ensuring clear communication, understanding of treatment options, and financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary contact for patients
- Explaining procedures and costs
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Scheduling appointments
- Assisting with treatment plan acceptance
- Maintaining patient records
- Addressing objections
- Streamlining office workflows
- Providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA
- Customer service experience
- Preferred: dental office familiarity
- Preferred: knowledge of dental terminology
- Preferred: insurance processes
- Preferred: proficiency with dental practice management software
- Bilingual skills are a plus
