The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OU HSC) is seeking a Dental Assistant. OU HSC is part of one of the nation's few academic health centers with all health-related colleges. The position is contingent upon a background check.
About the role
This role is located at OU College of Dentistry. The position is eligible for benefits and works a standard fixed schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care and dental procedures
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment
- Administer basic oral hygiene instructions
- Handle patient records and maintain confidentiality
- Perform routine administrative tasks
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 12 months experience as a Dental Assistant
- Dental Assistant Certification or OMSDA with the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry
- Basic CPR
- 6 months experience in Oral Surgery (preferred)
Qualifications
Preference given to candidates with 6 months experience in Oral Surgery.
