Dental QA Associate- Roseville, CA - Hybrid
Summary
Under minimal supervision, the Dental QA Associate supports quality assurance activities related to dental claims review, compliance, and process accuracy. This role requires strong dental knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze clinical and administrative documentation.
Understand Our Mission
Assists in delivering a documented quality plan for the performance of quality assurance activities for assigned projects or tasks. Conducts assessments and evaluations through analysis and interpretation of objective and subjective evidence to verify compliance to standards and applicable quality plans. Reviews dental claims, anesthesia records, and dental X-rays to determine level of process and product quality. Reports findings and escalates unresolved issues to appropriate levels.
Evaluate Work Products
- Reviews and evaluates work products to assess quality and reports findings.
- Researches alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches, and makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate parties.
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience and basic knowledge of dental terminology and claims processing preferred.
- Gathers, uses, and independently analyzes defect metrics data.
- Communicates analysis findings verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports.
- Utilizes intermediate Excel skills, including shared worksheets and tracking tools.
- Participates in special projects, external audits, and process improvements in support of quality assurance initiatives while working independently with integrity.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of dental claims and anesthesia records.
- Dental assisting experience; ability to read dental X-rays preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with quality metrics and data collection and analysis techniques.
What You Should Expect
- Hybrid: Office located in the Roseville/Sacramento, California area.
- Must be a resident of the state of California.
- The pay range for this position is $43,100.00 - $61,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
