About the role

Buckhead Family Dentistry is now hiring a Full Time Dental Patient and Treatment Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Full Time Dental Patient and Treatment Coordinator, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:45am to 5:00pm
  • Wednesday: 7:45am to 2:00pm
  • Friday: 7:45am to 12:00pm
  • 60 minute lunch break

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming calls to include new patients and emergencies
  • Establishing trusting relationship with new patients
  • Tracking pending and incomplete treatments
  • Brief patients on treatment plans and practice's policies
  • Presenting treatment plans
  • Making sure dental goals are being met in regard to dental services
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Requesting records
  • Patient follow ups
  • Knowledge of case acceptances, budgeting, and insurance

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2 or more years dental front office experience REQUIRED
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
  • Denticon PMS Experience is a plus
  • Must have a proven track record of presenting treatment plans and gaining case acceptance by securing appointments and payment for services
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor and able to resolve conflict
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
  • Energetic team player with a positive outlook on serving the needs of our patients and the business
