Dental Patient Services Representative

About the role

This is a full-time onsite role within the Dental Department, combining administrative duties with patient care coordination. Reporting to: Director of Dental Services.

Responsibilities

• Verifying and updating patient demographics and insurance information
• Handling co-pays, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments
• Managing patient check-in/check-out processes
• Providing patient education materials and resolving tasks from medical providers
• Scrubbing schedules and maintaining an up-to-date patient waitlist
• Ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality service
• Problem-solving, de-escalating issues, and communicating with medical teams to enhance patient satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma or GED required; 2-4 years of college or relevant experience preferred
• Medical Office Administration certificate strongly preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish required or as needed for other languages
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
