Dental Lab Technician – Removables & Ortho Specialist

About the role

The Dental Lab Technician will be responsible for fabricating removable and orthodontic dental appliances under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This position requires a strong foundation in dental laboratory techniques and a commitment to precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare models and impressions for fabrication of dentures, partials, and other removable appliances.
• Use dental wax and other materials to create detailed models of teeth and jaws.
• Fabricate custom dental appliances using various materials such as acrylic, metal, and porcelain.
• Ensure all fabricated appliances meet the specifications provided by the dentist.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a dental laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
• Proficiency in dental laboratory equipment and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software is a plus.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of 26 - 34 USD per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Variable schedule to accommodate patient needs, typically Monday through Friday with some weekend availability.
