Dental Lab Technician III (Crown & Bridge)

About the role

We are seeking a Dental Lab Technician III specializing in Crown & Bridge fabrication at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI. This is a full-time position within a leading healthcare organization that offers a full spectrum of specialized dental restoration products, services, and technologies across 50 labs nationwide.

Schedule

Regular hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and are subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentists
• Build and grind porcelain material
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Dental Lab Technician specializing in Crown & Bridge fabrication
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Skills

• Knowledge of tooth anatomy
• Ability to articulate dental work according to prescription
• Knowledge of dental materials (e.g., stones, acrylic)
• Ability to identify margins through impressions
• Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and technical documentation
• Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and color differentiation

Hazardous Materials and Equipment Used

• Porcelains: Empress, e.max, VM9, VM13
• Chemicals: Distilled water, Build-up Liquid, Aluminous Oxide, Glass Beads, General Purpose Cleaner
• Equipment: Dental handpiece, sandblaster, steamer

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
• Exhibit fine motor skills and perform repetitive motions
• Effectively communicate technical information
