Primary Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions Of The Position
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from the dentist
- Check models for defects that need correcting before fabrication begins
- Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship
- Post dam upper models
- Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship
- Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade
- Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics
- When setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up
- Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved
- Maintain a clean work area
- All other duties as assigned
Skills And Abilities Required
- Set Up (select and setup teeth)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
Minimum Education And Experience Required
Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
Hazardous Materials Or Equipment Used
- Small machinery
- Hand pieces
- Chemicals
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The regular hours for this position are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
