Responsibilities
- Set up and clean laboratory work areas daily
- Disinfect all incoming dental materials from clinical teams
- Pour dental impressions and mount casts
- Assist in processing acrylic resins using injection techniques
- Utilize dental laboratory materials including impression materials, plasters, stones, waxes, acrylics, and composites
- Operate laboratory equipment such as hand tools, dental lathes, handpieces, presses, and flasks
- Scan dental casts using 3D scanning technology
- Work under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager or most senior technician
- Follow established procedures while using sound judgment on a case-by-case basis
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to support patient-specific solutions
Requirements
- Previous dental lab experience preferred
- CDT certification or completion of an accredited dental laboratory program preferred (not required)
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality work
- Comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 10-hour shifts)
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
