About the role
Dental Care of Westminster is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a one-doctor practice under the leadership of Dr. Mian, who is known for being approachable, patient-focused, and supportive of her team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
- Engage in patient education and build long-term relationships
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure quality care
- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Maryland
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- 0 years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills

Schedule
The schedule is Monday–Thursday from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM with 60-minute lunch breaks.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
