Dental Hygienist ( Temporary, Pediatric Experience Preferred )

About the role

Pediatric Dentistry of Bronx is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our team temporarily. The position is approximately 3 months and involves working Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, and apply sealants
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Accurately record patient medical and dental histories
• Maintain a clean, safe, and kid-friendly clinical environment
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff
• Provide occasional front desk support as needed

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Valid NYS Dental Hygienist License
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• CPR Certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
• Team-oriented with a cheerful, professional attitude
