Responsibilities
- Maintaining patient records, updating medical histories, and vital signs
- Performing X-ray procedures and storing images
- Conducting periodontal charting and assisting with exams
- Providing preventative care, restorations, and administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
- Offering oral hygiene education and developing treatment plans
- Supporting infection control and contributing to clinic efficiency improvements
- Participating in dental education programs and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
- Performing other clinical duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduation from a Dental Hygiene program and active license in the state
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of dental practices, anesthesia, and restorative procedures
- Professional interaction skills and effective time management
- Proficiency with Electronic Dental Records and Microsoft Office
