Dental Hygienist - PT Part-Time

About the role

We’re seeking a motivated and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our exceptional team on a part-time basis. Whether you’re an experienced professional or a new graduate, you’ll find a supportive environment where you can grow, thrive, and make a real difference in patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with warmth and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit
• Prepare and set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures
• Update patients' health history and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Perform scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, and other preventive care
• Identify periodontal and restorative needs and communicate them effectively with the dentist
• Capture and interpret digital x-rays
• Conduct head, neck, and oral cancer screenings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant environment
• Schedule follow-up appointments and ensure seamless patient experiences

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
• Valid CT hygiene license and CPR certification
• 1+ years of dental experience preferred, but new graduates are warmly welcomed
• Certification in anesthesia (preferred)

Schedule

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8am-5pm
• 1-hour lunch breaks (1–2 PM)
• No late nights or weekends
