About the role
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide quality oral healthcare in diverse community settings, including urban, rural, and tribal areas.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, prepare for exams, and maintain efficient patient flow.
- Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, take vital signs, and capture radiographs such as panorex, bitewings, and periapicals.
- Conduct preliminary exams, chart dental decay, and assess oral health status.
- Complete root planning, scaling, fluoride treatments, sealants, and recall procedures for patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio.
- 1–2 years of dental experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Eligible for the NHSC Loan Repayment Program, offering up to $50,000 for full-time or $25,000 for part-time, aiding in student loan repayment while providing essential healthcare services.
