Dental Hygienist (Periodontal Specialty Office)

About the role

Established and respected periodontal specialty office seeking a hygienist with great skills, personality, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients by providing scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Obtaining patient information and creating records
• Communicating with referring dentists and teams
• Taking radiographs
• Recording periodontal charting
• Scheduling appointments
• Assisting with new patient consultation/evaluation visits

Requirements

• Proficient computer skills, digital x-rays, and Dentrix
• Interest in utilizing Periodontal Endoscopy (PerioView) during treatment
• Current New Jersey dental hygiene license
• Current New Jersey local anesthesia permit preferred
