Dental Hygienist (Periodontal Specialty Office)

Established and respected periodontal specialty office looking to add a hygienist with great skills, personality, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills to care for our patients. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills and take part in state-of-the-art treatment and dental care as well as being a part of a great team.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients by providing scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Obtaining patient information and creating records
• Communicating with referring dentists and teams
• Taking radiographs
• Recording periodontal charting
• Scheduling appointments
• Assisting with new patient consultation/evaluation visits

Requirements

• Current New Jersey dental hygiene license (required)
• Current New Jersey local anesthesia permit (preferred)

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills
• Experience with digital x-rays
• Familiarity with Dentrix (beneficial)
• Interest in utilizing Periodontal Endoscopy (PerioView) during treatment
