Dental Hygienist - FT or PT

About the role

Life Long Dental Care in Tolland, CT is seeking a licensed, patient-focused hygienist who shares a career vision for providing best-in-class patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral hygiene services to patients
• Conduct routine dental exams and take necessary x-rays
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Document patient treatment plans and progress
• Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist in good standing
• At least 2 years of experience in a dental office setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in using dental hygiene equipment and software

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized dental hygiene program
• Current license to practice as a dental hygienist in Connecticut

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of dental hygiene practices and procedures

Pay

Competitive hourly rate plus an opportunity for a performance bonus incentive tied to production and clinical excellence through the Healthy Hygiene Program (HHP).

Schedule

Full-time: Mon-Wed 8-5, Thurs 8-6, Fri 8-3
Part-time: 8-4 schedule available
