About the role

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of civilly committed sexual offenders. MSOP is a residential treatment facility for clients who have been court-ordered to receive ongoing treatment in a secure setting, offender treatment via the civil commitment process. Program staff provide comprehensive services including therapy, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming and volunteer services, health and wellness to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are at the forefront of all campus activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all services permitted by the state Board of Dentistry so that maximum oral hygiene may be maintained for the clients of State Operated Services Dental Clinics.
  • Design and implement a preventive dentistry program, in consultation with the dentist, so that optimal levels of all clients’ oral hygiene can be maintained.
  • Ensure that infection control policies and procedures will be followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and clients.
  • Aid with clinic duties so that client services and clinic communications and operations run effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Registration with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Experience working with Dentrix and taking digital radiographs.
  • Experience with tele dentistry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: Registration with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures, Patient-centered and willing to adapt to the needs of the clients, Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$33.86 - $44.93 / hourly

Schedule

Day Shift - 7am - 5pm (varies)
