About the role
This practice is seeking Full Time and Part Time Dental Hygienists in Beaufort, South Carolina. The team provides excellent clinical service to patients and collaborates across the dental team.
Responsibilities
- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents areas of existing restorations
- Uses X-ray
- Supports the dentist with procedures as needed
Requirements
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of South Carolina
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintains annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Qualifications
- New grads welcome to apply
- OR 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
- Nice to have: Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
- Experience with dental practice software, Dentrix preferred
