Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while adhering to company policies and state dental laws, rules, and regulations.
• Establishing and maintaining a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered.
• Screening patients during checkups.
• Cleaning accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums.
• Examining for indications of oral cancer.
• Reviewing a patient’s dental and medical history.
• Maintaining patients’ charts and transcribing the doctor’s notes accurately.
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health.
• Performing preventive dental care.
• Applying fluoride treatments.
• Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases.
• Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State Hygiene License.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current Hepatitis B vaccination.
