Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, preventive hygiene services, and patient education.
• Partner with dentists to create personalized treatment plans that improve long‑term oral health.
• Identify opportunities for early intervention through thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic imaging.
• Educate patients on preventive care, home care techniques, and treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while following infection control and compliance standards.
• Help create an exceptional patient experience that keeps patients returning and referring family and friends.
• Deliver high‑quality standard of care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence‑based protocols.
• Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health.
• Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co‑diagnose and personalize treatment.
• Create a welcoming, judgement‑free environment for every patient.
• Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• A passion for patient education and preventive dentistry.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Licensed dental hygienist passionate about patient care, education, and practicing at the top of their scope to improve oral health outcomes.
• Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads welcome).
• A current CPR certification.

Pay

$45‑$47 per hour
