Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the Commonwealth of Virginia required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands on practicum required.
• Cannot be sanctioned under Medicaid or Medicare.

Contribute to the mission of promoting wellness and improving health outcomes in the community.

Responsibilities

Perform oral hygiene and appropriate preventive services to dental patients of the center.

Provide appropriate oral health information to individuals and groups.

Work cooperatively and effectively with the staff, utilizing a balanced approach which includes the perspectives of all disciplines involved in the Clinic’s health services.

Participate in and be an active member of the in-school and mobile dental programs.
