Dental Hygienist

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) are community-based healthcare providers that receive funds from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center Program to provide primary care services in under-served areas.
About the role
This is a float position that requires travel between all dental sites as needed. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:45 am to 6:15 pm.
Responsible for administering comprehensive dental hygiene care to all patients, assessing and properly treating periodontal disease, assisting the dentist when needed, managing the recall system, and participating in required meetings.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree with two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Licensed to practice dental hygiene in the state of North Carolina
- Medically cleared for communicable diseases with all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment
Pay
$34.17/hour – $45.93/hour (commensurate with years of experience)
