Dental Hygienist

Main Street Dental Care, located at 623 W. Main St. Monroe, WA 98272, is a unique practice serving its community and patients with the support of Heartland Dental.

About the Role

As a Dental Hygienist at Main Street Dental Care, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire. Schedule

• Mondays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Fridays: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Utilize tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records
• Collaborate with a 15-person team focused on communication and community

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in WA
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR Certification
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment (not applicable in FL & TN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical experience as a Hygienist (new graduates welcome)
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
