Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleanings, screenings, and patient education.
- Utilize dental technology and electronic records to ensure efficient patient care.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to maintain high-quality dental services.
Qualifications and skills required
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri and relevant educational credentials (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification; experience with digital x-rays, digital scanners, Velscope, Diagnodent, and electronic medical records is preferred.
Physical and other requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Availability for periodic training sessions and compliance with health and safety protocols, including TB testing where applicable.
