Dental Hygienist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a collaborative dental team, providing preventive and therapeutic dental care. The position involves patient screenings, dental hygiene procedures, and utilizing advanced tools like Velscope and digital x-rays. Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, exams, and patient education
• Document medical histories and screen patients
• Utilize dental technology and maintain infection control standards
• Participate in continuing education and mentorship programs

Qualifications & Skills

• Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
• Knowledge of dental procedures, medical history documentation, and patient care
• CPR certification
• PREFERRED: Experience with digital scanners, x-rays, and electronic records

Key Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 45 pounds and prolonged sitting or standing
• Availability for periodic training and compliance with health standards, including TB testing
• Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to patient care
