Dr. James Crouch is offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for a Friday-only Dental Hygienist position.

About the Role

This is a part-time position with hours on Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Hygienists in CT, MD, NC, NV, and WA work for a supported professional corporation (PC) and are not employed by Heartland Dental.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate.
• Deliver time and care that patients need, deserve, and desire.
• Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation.
• Use clinical tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
• Meet clinical needs as required by the office.

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Louisiana.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures.
• CPR Certification.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
• Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment (not applicable in FL & TN).

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of clinical experience.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
