Dental Hygienist

About the Role

The Iowa Primary Care Association is recruiting a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Des Moines. This FQHC is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities, offering an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services under one roof.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Full-time position at 32 hours per week, seeing an average of 8 patients per day.

Work Environment

• Provider team: 2 full-time Dentists, 1 full-time Hygienist, and 4 Dental Assistants
• Facilities: 8 operatories, with 2 dedicated to hygiene
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC Wisdom

Responsibilities

Provide dental hygiene care within a community health center setting.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene
• Bilingual (verbal and written English & Spanish) preferred

Pay

$57,440–$86,160 depending on experience.
