Dental Hygienist

At Pleasant View Smiles, we are committed to creating exceptional patient experiences and delivering outstanding dental care. We are looking for a passionate, patient‑focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our collaborative team in our state‑of‑the‑art practice in Pleasant View, TN.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch break)

Pay

$40‑$43 per hour plus a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to discuss oral health hygiene and the mouth‑body connection with patients
• Review and update dental x‑rays and chart notes while maintaining dental equipment and x‑ray machine
• Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies
• Successfully complete scaling and root planning and/or prophylaxis
• Excel at placing fluoride varnish and sealants
• Serve as a point of escalation for both patient and team relations
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team

Qualifications

• Current certification from an accredited hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
