Dental Hygienist

About the role

Heartland Dental is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join their team at the ForwardDental Oconomowoc location. This position offers competitive benefits, continuing education, and access to an extensive network of mentors.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients
• Document patient histories and dental screenings accurately
• Use advanced dental hygiene tools and technologies
• Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in WI
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR certification
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems preferred
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
