Dental Hygienist

About the Role

Deer Creek Dental is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team at our O'Fallon, Missouri location. This position is open to part-time or full-time candidates.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, with huddle at 7:45am
• Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm, with huddle at 7:45am
• 1 doctor practice (2nd doctor joining soon)
• Utilizing Dentrix
• 60-minute recare appointments, 90-minute new patient appointments

Compensation & Benefits

• Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned
• Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions and must be completed prior to starting employment
