Dental Hygienist

About the role

Linderhof Family Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their team. Located at 3540 Jeffco Blvd, Suite 110, Arnold, Missouri 63010, the work schedule is Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am to 5 pm. They utilize Dentrix for scheduling, offering 60-minute recall appointments and 90-minute new patient appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients
• Document patient medical histories and dental screenings
• Use advanced dental technologies such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital x-rays
• Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure patient care and maintenance
• Attend virtual training sessions as needed

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR certification

Qualifications

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
