About the role
Valley Vista Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join their team. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with doctors and team members to deliver excellent patient care
- Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
- Build lasting patient relationships based on trust and compassion
- Continue developing your skills through ongoing education and mentorship
Requirements
- A positive, patient-focused mindset
- A desire to learn, grow, and expand their clinical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with digital technology such as digital x-rays, intraoral scanners, VELscope, Diagnodent, and electronic health records (preferred but not required)
- A commitment to delivering preventive care and helping patients achieve optimal oral health
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed
- Ability to attend periodic virtual and/or in-person training sessions throughout the year
