About the role

Valley Vista Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join their team. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with doctors and team members to deliver excellent patient care
• Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
• Build lasting patient relationships based on trust and compassion
• Continue developing your skills through ongoing education and mentorship

Requirements

• A positive, patient-focused mindset
• A desire to learn, grow, and expand their clinical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with digital technology such as digital x-rays, intraoral scanners, VELscope, Diagnodent, and electronic health records (preferred but not required)
• A commitment to delivering preventive care and helping patients achieve optimal oral health

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed
• Ability to attend periodic virtual and/or in-person training sessions throughout the year
