Dental Hygienist

About the role

As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire. Schedule

• Wednesday - Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM
• Alternating every other Wednesday until the second doctor starts in office

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Use clinical tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR Certification
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires (not applicable in FL & TN)
